We’re a family owned business (Poly-Engineering), located in Milo Maine, dedicated to producing a line of heirloom quality fly fishing products. We call our new line of products the Elegant Angler Fly Fishing System™. This system is designed for the discriminating fly tier and fly angler and we know, because of our family’s commitment to elegance, excellence, and functionally it will be handed down to generations yet unborn.

Our artisans have used superior quality materials throughout our product line: brass hardware, heartwood of Cherry, (one of America’s most beautiful hardwoods), and unique waterproof materials in our Fly Index and Field Log Binder. The finish we use on our products is also superior, it is a hand rubbed oil finish that is, in the wood not on it. We used this type of finish so you could take your “treasure” into the field and enjoy it. When you want to deal with those “beauty marks” that come from field use, simply put a few drops of Watco Natural Oil® on a rag, and rub away. Remember, this heirloom will grow in value with use.

Additionally, we’ve patented a revolutionary new way to hold (using magnets), label, and elegantly display, your fly inventory, (see the description of our Field Insert). We feel this unique design has set a new standard for the industry. No longer are the delicate materials used to make your flies so realistic going to be mangled flat in a fleece wallet or your needle-sharp hooks going to loose their “bite”.

You’ll find our products are “at home” in the Board Room, in your fishing vest, or on the floor of you pickup truck; that’s the way we designed them, that’s the way our Maine Artisans built them, and that’s the way we use them.
